Checkout is before 10am on the day of departure.
For evening meals the Glenmoriston Arms Hotel in Invermoriston is the closest. There are also a choice of restaurants at Fort Augustus and Drumnadrochit.

It's worth keeping in mind that during the summer season many places will be very busy so it is advisable to book as early in the day as you can.
Between November and March many places will have reduced opening hours, again it is advisable to phone ahead.
For a paper and a pint of milk the closest shop is at Invermoriston, about 12 minutes drive away.

For a wider range of goods there is a small food shop, a pharmacy, butcher, petrol station, post office and gift shops at Fort Augustus, another 10 minutes or so further on.

The nearest large supermarkets are in Inverness where you will also find a wide range of other shops.
The nearest ATMs are in Fort Augustus, one outside the postoffice and one at the garage. There is a small Bank of Scotland in Fort Augustus and another in Drumnadrochit, about 25 minutes drive away. It is advisable to check online for their current opening hours.
Yes, but In the interests of safety for small children and the comfort of other guests we only accept children over the age of 12. Please also keep in mind that all the cottages are designed for a maximum of 2 people sharing.
The grounds around the cottages are largely unfenced and there are fields containing livestock close by plus our own cats and chickens roam freely making the cottages unsuitable for pets. So regrettably to keep things simple we don't take pets.
