A note on SatNav
If using a SatNav to find us please be aware that postcodes in rural Scotland can be a lot larger than in most of the UK. If using the postcode alone most SatNavs will take you to a spot about 2 miles from us.
Some devices will recognise our village ‘Dalchreichart’ if yours is one of those choose that as your destination and simply continue on for about 500 metres after that and you will find us on the right hand side.
If yours is not one of those then we would recommend either using the Lat/Long or setting your SatNav to navigate to a known point, for example Invermoriston, and following our directions from there.
By Road From Inverness
From Inverness follow signs for Fort William (A82) Once out of the town the road follows the north shore of Loch Ness. You will pass Drumnadrochit and Urquhart Castle before reaching Invermoriston (It's about 25 miles from Inverness to Invermoriston).
Shortly after entering Invermoriston turn right onto the A887 by the Glenmoriston Arms (Signposted for Kyle of Lochalsh).
Continue along the A887 for about 10 miles after which the road narrows as you approach Torgoyle. Keep following the road until after a sharp bend to the left you will see Torgoyle bridge ahead.
Immediately before the bridge turn right onto the single track road signed Dalchreichart.
Continue along this road and about 1.5 miles after leaving the main road you will find us on the right hand side.
By Road From Fort William
From Fort William follow signs for Inverness (A82).
After about 20 miles you will reach Invergarry, turn left onto the A87 (Sign posted to Kyle of Lochalsh).
Continue for about 10 miles and at the end of the road turn right onto the A887 (Signed to Invermoriston and Inverness)
After about 5 miles the road will narrow and soon after you will go over a single track bridge across the River Moriston.
Immediately after crossing the river turn left onto the single track road signed Dalchreichart.
Continue along this road and about 1.5 miles after leaving the main road you will find us on the right hand side.
By Road From Skye
Leaving Skye via the bridge follow the road through Kyle of Lochalsh and follow the A87 signed to Inverness and Fort William. You will pass Eilean Donan Castle then on through Shiel bridge eventually reaching the Cluanie.
After passing the Cluanie Inn keep going for about another 15 miles at which point the road will narrow and soon after you will go over a single track bridge across the River Moriston.
Immediately after crossing the river turn left onto the single track road signed Dalchreichart.
Continue along this road and about 1.5 miles after leaving the main road you will find us on the right hand side.
